Revanta’s Mumbai Garuda clinched Pro Wrestling Leagues first title

Revanta’s team Mumbai Garuda kept their flag flying high even at the finals of Pro Wrestling League. The team showcased stunning performances at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi on Sunday.

In the final match of Pro Wrestling League, the team Mumbai Garuda mangled Haryana Hammers by 5-2.
The stadium was jam packed by 6,000 spectators and most of them were supporting Haryana Hammers. Instead of getting nervous, the Revanta’s Mumbai Garuda played their game with full dedication and concentration. While on the other hand, Haryana was excited about their kind of home support but failed to nail team Mumbai Garuda.

Mumbai’s Amit Dhankar put the team into a win situation from the beginning as he took on Haryana’s Vishal Rana. Haryana then kept trying to catch up with the flow but failed to mange even a decent loss. After Dhankar, it was the turn of Odikadze Elizbar to show Haryana way back to home. And he did it in style. In men’s 97 Kg bout, Elizbar beat Andriitesey Valeri.

The last of Pro Wrestling League witnessed a starry affair with sports stars like Virendra Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, Rohit Sharma and Vijendra Singh was seen cheering for the teams. Spectators sat on the edge as the bout showcased equal power and strength by both the sides.Neigeria’s Odunaya Adekuoroye stole the show as she crushed her counterpart Tatyana kit by astonishing 9-0.

Revanta’s Mumbai Garuda performed consistently in the entire league and didn’t disappoint their fans. The Nigerian beauty won hearts of many as she showcased humble attitude even after defeated her counterpart by a huge margin. Earlier, also Adekuoroye attracted crowd by her dancing moves when she won bouts and this time also, she expressed her joy by performing a lively jig. Revanta’s Mumbai Garuda was confident of their victory as they had a team of powerful, experienced and quality players.

As the curtains of Pro Wrestling League season 1 came down, the fans enjoyed the dancing moves of Odunayo as the magnificent wrestler said goodbye to India.
